About the project

The Legislative and Commissioners Quarters is a housing project in Uyo for members of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and members of the State Executive Council.

Governor Pastor Umo Eno announced the plan in May 2025, when he flagged off the Judiciary Village. He said the quarters show the priority his administration gives to the welfare of all partners in the Akwa Ibom project. Construction is ongoing.

The quarters are meant to give lawmakers and commissioners secure official homes in the capital, close to their offices.

The project is part of a wider plan to house public officers, alongside the Judiciary Village and residences for local government chairmen across the 31 LGAs, in line with the ARISE Agenda.
