About the project
The AKICORP Building is an office building under construction in Uyo for the Akwa Ibom Investment Corporation (AKICORP).
AKICORP is the state agency that manages and grows the investments of the Akwa Ibom State Government. Under Governor Pastor Umo Eno, the corporation has also been recovering and developing state-owned land and property in Uyo, Abuja and Lagos.
The new building is meant to give the corporation a permanent office in the state capital. Construction is ongoing.
The project is expected to support the state's drive to attract investment and earn more revenue from its assets, in line with the ARISE Agenda.
