About the project
This project is a road and bridge linking Ikot Idem Udo, Ntong Uno and Ikot Ukpong Mbiaso in Obot Akara Local Government Area. Ikot Idem Udo lies in the Nto Edino area, near the council headquarters, while Ntong Uno is in the Ikot Abia area.
Work on the road and bridge is ongoing. The contractor, length and expected completion date are not yet known.
The road is meant to improve links between these communities and the rest of Obot Akara. Once complete, it is expected to make it easier for farmers to move produce and for people to reach markets, schools and health centres. It is one of several road and bridge projects in Obot Akara under the ARISE Agenda.
