About the project
The Ikot Obio Offong to Nung Ukana to Abaukpo to Obontong to Enen Nsit Road is a completed rural road in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. It runs from Ikot Obio Offong through Nung Ukana, Abaukpo and Obontong to Enen Nsit.
The road is finished with a marked road surface. It joins the longest chain of named communities among the completed roads in Nsit Ibom.
By linking five communities on one route, the road gives residents a direct path to markets, schools and health care, and makes it easier for farmers to move their produce. At Ikot Obio Offong and Nung Ukana it connects with the Ikot Obok to Nung Ukana to Ikot Obio Offong road.
The road is expected to cut travel time, lower transport costs and support trade between the villages, in line with the ARISE Agenda's aim of opening up rural communities.
