The Mkpat Enin to Ikot Ekpe to Ikot Afang to Ikot Umiang to Mbioto to Efa Road is a 10.83-kilometre rural road linking Mkpat Enin and Etinan Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State. About 7.63 kilometres lie in Mkpat Enin and the rest in Etinan. The project also includes a 1.93-kilometre spur to Ikot Enyienge and a 30-metre bridge.
The road was built by the Akwa Ibom State Government, and the contractor is Eighteenth Engineering Company International Limited. Work was flagged off in March 2024 under Governor Pastor Umo Eno, and the road was about 90 per cent complete at an inspection in April 2026.
The road has an 8-metre carriageway, about 21.66 kilometres of drains, a roundabout and solar street lights. It serves Mkpat Enin, Ikot Ekpe, Ikot Afang, Ikot Umiang, Mbioto, Efa, Ikot Enyienge and nearby communities, some of which had lived without a proper road for decades. Residents now reach their farms and markets more easily, with shorter journeys between the two LGAs.
The road is expected to boost trade and farming along the corridor, in line with the rural development focus of the ARISE Agenda.
It was commissioned on Tuesday 29 September 2026 by the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, who represented Governor Eno, as part of the State's 39th anniversary celebrations.

A direct route to Etinan gives farmers and traders a second outlet for their goods. The long run of drains should also protect the road from early damage by rain.
