About the project
This project is the construction of a 5.5-kilometre network of internal roads in Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
The roads are meant to make daily movement easier, cut down mud and dust, and raise the value of property along the routes. The exact streets and the contractor have not been published.
Work is in progress. In August 2026, road base works with kerbs were under way on a 1.5km section, and a listing from May 2025 also marked the network as ongoing.
