About the project
This is a model school project at Ekim Enen in Uruan Local Government Area.
Governor Pastor Umo Eno's administration is building model primary schools across the local government areas of the state. These schools are designed with an ICT laboratory, a library, a sick bay, a football field and playground, staff quarters, a water supply and solar power. Pupils receive free uniforms and exercise books.
The school is part of the state government's effort to improve basic education at the grassroots under the ARISE Agenda.
It is meant to bring good schooling closer to children in Ekim Enen and nearby communities, who would otherwise travel long distances to attend school.
