About the project

This is a model primary school built at Ikot Oku Usung in Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. It is part of the state government's programme of model primary schools under Governor Pastor Umo Eno.

The school gives children in Ikot Oku Usung and nearby villages a new and better place to learn, closer to home.

Modern classrooms are meant to improve learning conditions, attract and keep teachers, and encourage more parents to send their children to public school. The project fits the ARISE Agenda focus on education.

The school has been completed. Its contractor and commissioning date have not yet been confirmed.
