About the project
The Dualisation of Ring Road 4 is a road project in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital. It turns the road into a dual carriageway with two carriageways and roundabouts at its junctions.
The road runs from Idoro Road to the Uyo to Ikot Ekpene Expressway. It forms part of the ring road network meant to carry traffic around the main urban area.
The project is funded by the Akwa Ibom State Government under Governor Umo Eno. Its length and contractor have not been published.
Work was ongoing in June 2026. The road is expected to ease traffic on the main roads into Uyo and give motorists a quicker route between Idoro Road and the Ikot Ekpene axis.
