About the project

This is a 2.9-kilometre road linking four communities in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State: Nung Oku Ekanem, Abak Ishiet, Ese Ishiet and Ikot Obong Ishiet.

It is one of several road projects in Onna under the administration of Governor Pastor Umo Eno. No contractor, start date or commissioning date has been published, and its current status is yet to be confirmed.

The road is meant to give the four communities an all-season link to each other and to the main roads in Onna, making it easier to reach farms, markets, schools and health centres. It fits the Rural Development pillar of the ARISE Agenda.
