About the project

The Mkpaeto-Ikot Ndodot Road is a 1.7-kilometre road linking Mkpaeto and Ikot Ndodot in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. It is one of the short link roads in Onna.

The road is being built by the Akwa Ibom State Government under Governor Pastor Umo Eno as a direct labour and intervention project. Other direct labour works in Onna include the Stadium Road in Abat and flood control facilities at the council secretariat. Its current status is yet to be confirmed.

The road is meant to give the two communities an all-season link, ease movement to farms and markets, and connect residents more easily to the rest of Onna. It fits the Rural Development pillar of the ARISE Agenda.
