About the project
This project is the renovation of the primary school at Ikot Akpa Afuk in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Renovating the school is meant to give pupils and teachers safer, more comfortable classrooms. Better buildings are expected to help children learn and encourage families to keep their children in school.
The work fits the ARISE Agenda focus on basic education. In 2023 the state government declared a state of emergency on primary education and directed the renovation and upgrade of public primary schools across the state.
