About the project
This record covers rural development and grassroots interventions in Mbo communities under the ARISE Agenda of Governor Pastor Umo Eno.
The work covers rural infrastructure, access roads and economic development, along with water projects and grassroots social support. Mbo is also among the LGAs covered by the One-Project-Per-LGA model, under which each local government area gets a major state project.
In Mbo, these efforts include new and upgraded roads, ARISE Compassionate Homes for vulnerable residents, and grants and equipment for farmers and traders. The work is ongoing.
The interventions are meant to bring government closer to rural people, improve living conditions and open up Mbo's farming and fishing communities to trade.
