About the project
This record covers two road works in and around Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. The first is the laying of a second layer of asphalt on the Etebi to Enwang Road. The second is the Udesi to Urue Offong/Oruko Road.
The Etebi to Enwang Road leads to Enwang, the headquarters of Mbo LGA. The Udesi to Urue Offong/Oruko Road links Mbo with the neighbouring Urue Offong/Oruko LGA.
Both jobs are being carried out by the Akwa Ibom State Government under the ARISE Agenda of Governor Pastor Umo Eno, and work is ongoing.
When finished, the roads are expected to make travel between Mbo and its neighbours faster and safer, and to help farmers, fishermen and traders reach markets in Oron and beyond.
