About the project
The Edikor to Udu to Okobo Road is a 4.5-kilometre road on the Udung Uko, Mbo and Oron axis of Akwa Ibom State. It forms part of the wider road network of the Oro area.
The road is being built by the Akwa Ibom State Government under the ARISE Agenda of Governor Pastor Umo Eno. Work is ongoing. No contractor, start date or cost has been published.
When finished, the road is expected to give the Edikor and Udu communities a better link to Okobo and the rest of the Oro area. It is meant to cut travel time and make it easier to move farm produce and fish to market.
