This is a solar-powered water facility at Bridge Head, Ayadehe (also spelt Ayadeghe), in Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
It was provided by the Akwa Ibom State Government under Governor Pastor Umo Eno, through the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation.
In October 2026 the Commissioner for Water Resources and Sanitation, Hon. Ubuo Effiong Ubuo, said the Ayadehe project was among water schemes in more than 12 communities that had been completed and handed over. Each has solar-powered pumping and a water treatment plant.
Because it runs on solar power, the facility does not need grid power or fuel. It is expected to give residents a safe and steady supply of clean water and to reduce water-related illness.

Time saved on fetching water can go to farming, trade or school. Solar power also means the facility does not depend on fuel to pump water.
