About the project

A model primary school in Ibeno provides new school buildings and learning facilities. The school has several roofed classroom blocks built around a courtyard, with solar panels on the roof. The buildings are finished.

It is one of the model primary schools the Akwa Ibom State Government is building across the local government areas under Governor Pastor Umo Eno. The exact site, contractor and handover date have not been published.

The school is meant to give pupils bright, safe classrooms and a better place to learn. The solar panels are expected to help keep lights and fans running. The model school programme is part of the education pillar of the ARISE Agenda.
