About the project
The Chairman's Official Residence, also called the Chairman's Lodge, is a new official home for the chairman of Etinan Local Government Council. It is being built at Etinan.
Governor Pastor Umo Eno announced at the Etinan Federal Constituency Town Square Meeting on 23 August 2025 that official residences would be built for all local government chairmen in the state. Construction in Etinan was flagged off on 15 January 2026 by the council chairman, Hon. Uko Umoh, who thanked the governor for his support to local governments.
Work is ongoing. The contractor and the expected completion date have not been published.
The residence is expected to give the chairman a fixed home in the local government area and bring council leadership closer to the people.
