About the project

The renovation of the primary school at Abiakpo/Ukana is a school project in Abak Local Government Area. The work covers a block of four classrooms and an office block.

The school is one of two government primary schools in Abak listed for renovation under the Akwa Ibom State Government's school improvement work under Governor Umo Eno. The renovation is completed.

The renovated classrooms and office give pupils and teachers a sounder place to learn and work. A working school in the community means families do not have to send young children farther away for primary classes.

The project is expected to improve learning conditions for children in Abiakpo and Ukana. It fits the ARISE Agenda focus on basic education.
