About the project

The renovation of Annang People's School in Afaha Obong is a primary school project in Abak Local Government Area. The work covers a block of four classrooms with an office, and other classroom blocks with an office and a store.

The school is one of two government primary schools in Abak listed for renovation under the Akwa Ibom State Government's school improvement work under Governor Umo Eno. The renovation is completed.

The repaired classrooms give pupils in Afaha Obong better conditions for lessons. The office and store give teachers space to work and a safe place to keep school materials.

The project is expected to help keep children in school close to home and to improve learning in the community. It fits the ARISE Agenda focus on basic education.
