About the project

This project built about 2.5 kilometres of internal roads in residential areas of Uyo, at Block G of Anua GRA Phase II and at the Ifa Ikot Okpon Housing Estate.

The Akwa Ibom State Government under Governor Pastor Umo Eno delivered the roads, which are completed and awaiting inauguration. No contractor has been published.

Both areas are housing estates on the edge of the capital. The new roads give residents paved access to their streets and homes. They are meant to make the estates easier to reach and support the growth of organised housing in and around Uyo, in line with the ARISE Agenda.
