About the project

Ibom Hotels and Apartments is a planned hotel and apartment building on property owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. The site is the state's liaison office in Abuja.

The project is being driven by the state government under Governor Umo Eno. In 2024 the state announced that it would turn the Abuja liaison office into a three-star hotel. In February 2026 the Governor said the state had secured the Certificate of Occupancy for the property and would redevelop it as Ibom Hotels and Apartments. A design for the building has been prepared.

The hotel and apartments are meant to earn money for the state without new taxes on the people. The project is one of several property investments, alongside Ibom Towers in Lagos, that the state is using to raise its internally generated revenue under the ARISE Agenda.
