About the project
The Edebom II to Ikot Isong Road is a rural road project in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. It is meant to link the Edebom II community with Ikot Isong.
The work is ongoing. A gravel base with marked edges has been laid along the route.
It is one of several roads being built to connect more villages and institutions in Nsit Ibom. When finished, it is expected to give residents a reliable all-season route to markets, schools and health centres, and to make it easier for farmers to move their produce.
The project fits the ARISE Agenda's aim of opening up rural communities and supporting the farm economy.
