About the project

This project is the construction of a Chairman's Lodge for Mbo Local Government Area. The lodge is an official residence for the council chairman, close to the council secretariat at Enwang, the headquarters of Mbo LGA.

Construction was flagged off on 14 January 2026 at the council secretariat in Enwang. Governor Umo Eno was represented by Rt. Hon. Sir Udo Kierian Akpan. In April 2026 the council chairman, Hon. Sunday Etim, inspected the work. The walls were up and work was continuing. No contractor has been published.

The lodge is meant to give the council a permanent official residence for its chairman.
