A 2.4km road.

The Ikot Akpa Ikpo to Urua Udo Inyang Road is a 2.4-kilometre asphalt road in the Okon area of Eket Local Government Area. It has drains and road safety fittings, and it serves four villages along the Okon axis.
The road was started in 2021 under the previous administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel. The Akwa Ibom State Government under Governor Pastor Umo Eno completed it because of its value to the people of the area.
The road links Eket with the farming communities around it and serves the large Udo Udo Inyang market. It is expected to make trade easier, cut travel time and help farmers get their produce to buyers.
Governor Umo Eno commissioned the road on 24 June 2026, together with the 2.4-kilometre internal road network in Mkpok Estate Phases I and II. The Commissioner for Works, Prof. Eno Ibanga, and the Eket Council Chairman, Akaninyene Tommey, took part. At the event, the Governor said 38 kilometres of roads were being built across Eket LGA, with 12 more kilometres approved, as part of the ARISE Agenda.
